Why might one of my two closet lights go out after a half-hour or so?
I have two closet light fixtures and they both come on when I flip the light switch. Then after a period of time, one of them shuts off by itself. The other one stays on. Hours later when I flip the light switch, they both come on again.
What should I do to detect the cause of this problem? I have a volt meter.
They are not florescent.
It could be a loose bulb or the center tab in the fixture could be crushed down(just pry it up with finger nail WITH POWER OFF) or bad bulb or loose conection on the failing fixture (probably bridged off the working fixture).
