The Xbox 360 is the successor to Xbox video game console from Microsoft. It was referred to in the past as Xbox Next or Xbox 2 or simply Project Xenon. How to hook up Xbox 360 to surround sound system.?
Ok look I have an HD projector, Surround sound system, and Xbox 360 hooked up to projector 1080p, but how can I hook up to speakers, if my xbox does not have any audio hookup just hdmi but I can use the regular Xbox Composite cable but that IS not 1080p. So how to do it?
i recommend using the original xbox 360 component cable. it is capable of showing 1080p with the flip of a switch. it also has a small spot on the side of it where you can hook in a seperate audio system, like a surround sound system. it makes things alot easier but it is not required!
you could just plug in the composite cables into the projector to get picture AND sound. then plug in the surround sound into the extra audio ports. (red and white) the goal is to get all the "signals" put into one central hub or location.
your HD projector should also have auxilary ports that you can use for audio.
