Finding Retro Star Wars Figures on a Budget
Fans in search of discount old-fashioned star wars figures will know that it is not a simple chore. With thousands of movie buffs all over the world, lots of the best star wars figures have already been snapped up, only to be displayed again at expensive auctions. Despite this, there is hope for smart fans…and after years of hunting I should know. My star wars figures compilation is now large enough that I don't need much more. So although I am constantly browsing for more, I believe that I can give you a few of my smart sources for good value and cheap star wars figures.
1. Facebook
Publicise your expanding collection of star wars figures on Facebook - many people have a few of their childhood star wars figures in the attic. As your buddy there is more chance that they will give you a decent price on them, and this is how I got many of my top star wars figures for less!
2. Scan The Classifieds
Searching classifieds advertisements for star wars figures is common practice, and these are usually costly as the person advertising understands they are dealing with a fan who is genuinely keen. An easier way is to pay for an advert asking people to come forward with star wars figures, and this way you can set a fair price confidently.
3. FInd Cheap Auctions
This is usually regarded as a very costly way to get good quality star wars figures. Despite this, if you get your technique right and make a late offer you can often come away with some wonderful prices.
4. Car Boot Sales

Where in the Star Wars movies does it mention that Jango or Boba Fett are Mandalorian?
A made a bet that i could stump a friend with star wars trivia and he didn't know that the Fett's wore mandalorian armor. The one stipulation was that the question had to be able to be from the movies. So where in the movies does it say this?
Sorry "Kevin K" and "Jason" but "Michael" is correct. It is NEVER mentioned in any of the live action films that the Fetts are even Mandalorians let alone that they wear Mandalorian armor. All Obi-Wan says about Jango in ep II is that he is a Bounty Hunter ... never says anything about anything "Mandalorian". I don't believe it is mentioned in the Star Wars The Clone Wars animated movie but it is mentioned numerous times in the series on the Cartoon Network of the same name.
So ... either you both owe each other a beer because your question wasn't something from the movies and he didn't know the answer anyways ... or ... it's a white wash as the one stipulation of it being from the movies wasn't followed.
I do have to thank you though ... it gave me a good reason to skim through the movie again to make sure I was right ... lol ... any reason to watch a SW movie again is a good reason.
