My computer stays on the memory count screen and won't continue.?

I have my recent power supply repaired due to overheating.
I have reconnected all the wirings and when the computer starts, it only stays on the memory count screen, the screen that shows the processor and motherboard specs.

I have tried pressing ctrl-alt-del on that screen but it doesn't restart.

It only shows "Athlon X2 5200+... AMD Northbridge ... etc. etc. 2064Mb RAM... etc etc." and it just stays on that screen"

Is my motherboard busted or something? I have a 600W powersupply and the computer's working fine for the past 6 months.

I have also tried pressing DEL to enter the BIOS setup but it won't continue. It only says "Entering SETUP..." and then it hangs.

I hope someone can help me if I can fix this or at least buy the part which is damaged. I can't just go on buying a new PSU or a new mobo if I'm not sure if it is the problem

Start with the easy things - after each step, turn on the PC and see how far you get:

1. Re-seat each card in the PC and each memory stick.
2. If possible, remove any cards (like a modem, sound card, etc.).
3. Disconnect your DVD/CD drive.

It could be your motherboard but it might also be one of the above items.
