Missing Hard

How will you know when your Hard Drive has crashed?
Do you know the visible signs that imply that your hard drive has crashed or is crashing? Here are some things you may wish to look out for:
Lost data and files: This is one sure way of knowing that your hard drive has crashed. If you happen to be losing data and files every so often, it means that either the hard disk has already crashed or is in the process of crashing.
‘Blue screen of death’ appearance: While working with your computer and then, all of a sudden, a blue screen with a lot of information written on it appears, this should warn you that your hard drive is crashing or has already failed. This blue screen means that there exist some bad sectors on the hard drive that the system is unable to read. Bad sectors on the hard drive indicate failure of the hard drive. So, always watch out for the ‘blue screen of death’.
Consistent error messages: Check out some of these errors and confirm whether you have experienced them before: ‘Hard drive missing’, ‘Hard drive not found’, ‘Operating system is missing’? Such errors are a common indicator that your hard drive is failing or has already crashed. This is because the files stored in hard drive have been corrupted and cannot be interpreted properly by the computer system. So, the next time you are working on your files and any of these messages pop up, be warned because your hard drive could be failing.
Computer system hangs and freezes frequently: Freezing of the computer means that the system fails to read and interpret certain instructions sent to it. It is an indicator that there are, again, bad sectors that exist in the hard drive. This could signify that the hard drive is failing. The system is unable to access the necessary information that is needed for loading a program or locating a file. This is most probably the original information that is needed was corrupted and altered.
Automatic Rebooting of computer: This means that the hard drive has a virus that has caused a loop within the boot sectors of the hard drive. Thus, when the computer is starting up and it reaches a certain point, it reboots automatically.
