In early 2003, updates the Nintendo Game Boy Advance giving it an internal front light that can be switched on or off, a rechargeable lithium ion battery and a folding case approximately half the original size. It was designed to address some common complaints with the original Game Boy Advance which was criticized for being too uncomfortable. The Game Boy Advance SP also comes with a new LCD screen and much brighter for improved gameplay.
Around the same time as the release of the Game Boy Micro, Nintendo released a new version of the SP backlit in America North (commonly known as the SP "GBA +"). The switch controlling the light now toggles between "normal" (which in itself is already brighter than the original screen Game Boy Advance SP), and "brilliant", a level of brightness similar to a LCD TV set.
In September 2005, Nintendo released a second redesign of the Game Boy Advance. This model, known as the Game Boy micro, is similar in style to the original Game Boy Advance's horizontal orientation, but is much smaller and more stylish. The Game Boy Micro also gives users the ability to switch between various color covers to enable customization, a feature Nintendo announces heavily around the Game Boy Micro will launch. Nintendo also hopes that this "fad" feature will help audiences outside typical gamers, like its new Wii console. Unlike previous models of Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Micro is unable to support Game Boy and Game Boy Color.
Nintendo's competitors in the labor market were the Neo Geo Pocket Color, Bandai Swan Crystal, Game Park 32, Tapwave Zodiac and the Nokia N-Gage. Despite the best efforts of competitors, Nintendo maintained its majority market share with the Game Boy Advance.
To date, Nintendo has sold 80,500,000 units GBA All world. More than half of those in the Americas and 16 million in Japan in second place.
The Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS has become the modern flagship the sprite-based games. With superior hardware to the Super Nintendo has proven that sprite-based technology can improve and live with 3D games today consoles. The Game Boy Advance, not simply one of typical platforms, but also a huge collection of SNES-style RPG. It has also become a system popular with old-school gamers due to the increasing amount of games ported from various 8-bit and 16-bit systems of the previous era. Using flash cartridges and emulators for Game Boy Advance can even play NES and TurboGrafx-16 games, as well as AGI-based Sierra On-Line PC adventure games.
Nintendo DS and GBA owners enjoy a great selection of Nintendo games of sports, action and adventure to the simulation, strategy and edutainment.
The best-selling game of all times is Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, released in March 2003 was sold in more than 13 million copies.

Today you can find many websites selling Nintendo games online, where you can also find rare classic affordable prices and games that are mostly unobtainable in the shops.
My personal favorite, "Games – Advance" is an online store, by far, the selection of largest online both new releases and classic, rarely original and 3rd party accessories Nintendo.
